Bossier City Mayor Lorenz “Lo” Walker will present a proclamation honoring the Bossier City Little League All Star Baseball Team which will be representing the state of Louisiana next month in the Southwest Regional Playoffs of the Little League World Series.
Mayor Walker will present the proclamation at noon on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Shelby Lane’s Closet, 1655 Swan Lake Road in Bossier City during a special luncheon to raise funds to cover the team’s traveling expenses to Waco, Texas, sight of the Southwest Regional Playoffs which are scheduled to take place August 2 – 7, 2013. The winning team from that round will go on to complete for the title of Little League World Champions in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
