The Greenacres Mustangs swept the Rusheon Rams on Thursday in Bossier Parish middle school boys basketball district play.
The Mustangs eighth-graders won 38-19, The seventh-grade squad won 25-15.
Elsewhere, the Elm Grove Eagles swept the Haughton Bucs, winning the eighth-grade game 41-21 and the seventh-grade game 32-21.
Greenacres and Elm Grove both improved to 5-1. Elm Grove leads the seventh-grade district at 6-0.
At Greenacres, Devarrick Woods tossed in 12 points to lead the Mustangs eighth-grade squad. Deveon Corley added seven points. Jordan Boyd and Makhi Tanner scored six each.
Gavin Ashworth led the seventh-grade Mustangs with 10 points. Brandon Daniels and Jyson Thomas combined for 10.
At Haughton, Peyton Stovall tallied nine points and Logan Wilkerson added five to lead the Haughton eighth-grade team.
DJ Gladney led the Bucs seventh-graders with eight points and nine rebounds. Logan Carmack grabbed seven rebounds.
