The Rusheon Rams completed the first half of Bossier Parish middle school eighth-grade district play undefeated with a victory over the Haughton Bucs on Monday.
Javon Johnson led the Rams (5-0 district) with 18 points. Keyshun Johnson added 10 and Bryson Broom five.
Amarion Lars led Haughton with eight points and five rebounds.
Rusheon won the seventh-grade game 29-23
Javonte Small paced the Rams with 12 points. Caiden Williams and Kameron Davenport scored seven and six, respectively.
Marlon Montgomery led the Bucs with seven points and Andrew Markray added five.
