The annual Bossier Parish middle school football jamborees are this week.
The eighth-grade jamboree, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, is Tuesday at Bobby Marlow Field at Preston Crownover Stadium. The seventh-grade jamboree is Thursday at Bossier’s Memorial Stadium.
Gates open for the eighth-grade jamboree Tuesday at 5 p.m. with the flagraising at 5:45. The first game is at 6. Elm Grove takes on Cope, Benton faces Greenacres and Rusheon plays Haughton.
Cheerleaders and dancelines will perform after the second game. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for school-age children.
