The Benton Lady Tigers swept North DeSoto in non-district middle school girls basketball games Thursday, winning the seventh- and eighth-grade games by large margins.
Both Lady Tigers squads improved to 3-0.
Addison Graves led Benton in the seventh-grade game with seven points. Tate Sellers and Danielle Colemon scored six each.
Lauren Hall and Rylie Tippett were the top rebounders.
Sellers and Jermirica Carper played outstanding defense, coach Randy Ward said. Graves and Ryuka Roddy had overall outstanding performances.
Tahlor Walker had a big game in the eighth-grade win, scoring 16 points. Ella Kate Malley and Kate Evans scored eight each. Molly Machen and Riley Grace Stanford combined for eight points.
Walker and Evans led the rebounding effort. Machen and McKenzie Young contributed with their defensive play. Walker and Malley had strong games offensively and defensively.
