The Benton Middle School Lady Tigers went 3-1 in the annual Polar Bear Tournament on Saturday in Monroe.

“Evie Cummings was solid pitching from the circle,” coach Wade Brooks said. “Lady Tigers had solid defensive efforts from Olivia Livers, Maddie Ramsey, Landri James, LuLu Flowers, and Lainey Lafitte.”

Brooks said the Lady Tigers hit the ball very well all four  games. Flowers had a leadoff home run in the second game.

Brooks said Loren Sivils, Lafitte, Ramsey, Livers, and Bree Strickland all hit the ball very well.

“The Lady Tigers played very good defensively,” he said.
