Summer activities are returning to Bossier City as Mike Wood Pool prepares to officially open for the season on June 2.
City officials announced on Facebook the public pool will welcome swimmers beginning June 2, offering residents and families a place to cool off during the summer months.
Located in Bossier City, Mike Wood Pool has long served as a popular summertime destination for local families, children and visitors looking for affordable recreational activities.
The pool will operate Tuesday through Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. Admission is set at $2.50 per person.
Officials encourage visitors to bring sunscreen, towels and swim gear as the community heads into another busy summer season.
