Haughton, LA – The Bossier Chamber of Commerce, alongside community leaders and officials, gathered for the grand opening ribbon-cutting celebration of Minden Medical Clinic of Haughton on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
“We are pleased to offer the Haughton community multispecialty healthcare that is deeply rooted in the area,” said Karen Stem, CEO of Minden Medical Center. “There is evidently a demand for a multispecialty clinic in the region to cater to the needs of the community and the residents of Haughton. The introduction of these services fulfills that requirement within this locality.”
Minden Medical Clinic of Haughton is a comprehensive healthcare facility situated in Haughton, LA, offering an extensive array of medical services, including family medicine, general surgery, oncology, and women’s services. It stands as the first of its kind in the area.
“What an honor it is to be here today. How exciting it is to open up this beautiful facility and bring Minden Medical Clinic right here to Haughton to provide medical services to this growing community,” said Lisa Johnson, CEO/President of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce.

Kim Gaspard, Mayor of Haughton, was also present at the ribbon-cutting celebration. Mayor Gaspard expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the Town of Haughton and its community.
“We want people to come home to Haughton because it’s a great place to live. On behalf of the town council, the employees of the Town of Haughton, and the people of Haughton, thank you, Minden Medical, for choosing to come here,” said Gaspard.
In 2022, community leaders and officials from both Webster and Bossier Parishes gathered across the road from Haughton Junior High to join Minden Medical Center and Allegiance Healthcare Management in celebrating the groundbreaking for the new $6.7 million multispecialty Minden Medical Clinic of Haughton.
