A man contacted Bossier deputies July 11 to report someone had stolen his Harley Davidson near the 33-mile marker of I-20 after the rider went to get some fuel after running out of gas.  He was traveling eastbound, pulled the motorcycle to the shoulder and walked to the nearly Pilot Travel Center truck stop in Haughton to get some fuel.  When he returned to where he parked his motorcycle, it was gone.

The stolen motorcycle is a 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200 with Louisiana Motorcycle tag 520807.   It is primarily red in color with black saddle bags, a sissy bar with the Harley Davidson logo, detachable front windshield and custom chrome exhaust.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of this motorcycle, please contact the Bossier Sheriff’s detective’s office at (318) 965-3418 or dispatch at (318) 965-2203.
