Motorists are Encouraged to Avoid the Intersection of Benton Rd. and Viking Drive

Bossier City Police Department is encouraging motorists to avoid traveling the intersection of Benton and Viking Drive. Early this afternoon a trailer hauling approximately 5 cars overturned in the intersection. This accident has caused major traffic congestion in the areas of Benton Rd. Viking Drive and Airline Drive. Bossier P.D. is working to clear the area as soon as possible but is recommending that unless totally necessary avoid this area, those who must drive in this area can expect extended traffic delays.
