MPC to hold public hearing about zoning regulations

The Bossier Metropolitan Planning Commission will hold a public hearing this month to gather input on proposed amendments to its Unified Development Code which governs all zoning and subdivision regulations.

The public hearing is scheduled to take place during the MPC’s regular meeting on May 14 at 2 p.m. in the Bossier City Council Chambers, 620 Benton Rd.

A copy of the UDC with the proposed amendments highlighted in red is available on the Bossier MPC’s webpage which is accessible via the City of Bossier City website – bossiercity.org.

The proposed UDC amendments are designed to streamline zoning procedures while at the same time updating some of the language in the code.
