Lawrence C. Feulner was born on April 27 1923 in Steventown Center, upstate New York, to Anna and John Feulner and passed away on October 20 2013 at the NWLA War Veteran’s Home where he was lovingly cared for by their outstanding staff for the past two years.
Larry served his country for over 27 years in the United States Air Force and was a WW II veteran. He married Marguerite Robert Feulner in Alexandria, LA, in 1956 while stationed at England Air Force Base, LA. They enjoyed assignments in Okinawa, England, Spain, Tacoma Washington, and Austin Texas, before retiring in Alexandria, LA, in October 1972.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, six brothers, one infant sister, and his wife Marguerite Feulner. He is survived by an older brother, Frank Feulner, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, many Feulner nieces and nephews, along with his step-daughter Glenda Reynolds Fontanez (Angelo) of Bossier City, LA, and step-son, Paul Terrell (Sharon) of Pineville, LA, and a very special loved one and companion for many years, Leonora Shohan, formerly of Pineville, LA, now residing in Pontiac, Michigan. Papa Larry is also survived by four grandchildren; Melissa Reynolds Vogel of Corpus Christi, Texas, Melinda Reynolds Coleman of Bossier City, LA, Maria Terrell and Michael Terrell of Pineville, LA, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
