Funeral services for Robert Lee Nemitz will be 10:00 A.M. Friday July 12, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Dr. F. Randy Harper, pastor, Bellaire Baptist Church officiating and interment following in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at Hill Crest. MSgt. Nemitz was born August 3, 1931 In Hanover, Kansas to parents Anna Dora (Knupple) and Fred John Nemitz and passed away July 9, 2013 in Ringgold, LA following an extended illness. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam Wars and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. MSgt. Nemitz was a loyal member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
MSgt. was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Bobbie S. Nemitz, three daughters, Deborah Nemitz, Beverly Wynne and husband Tony, Ondie Byrd and husband Embry, son, Randy Farrar, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
