Army National Guard 1st Lt. Hallie C. Martin has assumed command of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team at Lafayette, Louisiana National Guard.

She is the daughter of John Martin of Curtis Lane, Plaindealing, Texas, and Peggy Tennyson of Fernwood Circle, Haughton, La.
Martin graduated in 1997 from Haughton High School, and received a bachelor of science in 2011 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Iowa.
