BOSSIER CITY – Nell S. Allen joined her husband, Lowery D. Allen, in heaven Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on Friday evening, June 7, 2013, between the hours of 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted at Gills First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen had a successful career as Accounting Manager with the Army/Air Force Exchange Service and was a charter member of Waller Baptist Church.
She will be watching over her family, son, Charles Vincent Allen and his wife, Judy and their children Thomas Harris and his sons Kaleb and Karson; and Amber Harris; her daughter Nan Welch and husband Michael and their children Danielle Dickie and husband Saeed Siddikov, their daughter Posie; Robert Wade Dickie and wife Tamara, their children Victoria Scott and Brittan Doster; Hollie Crawford and husband Kevin and daughter, Sarah; son, Sean Welch and son Wylie; Morgan Youngblood and husband, Chad and their sons, Cannan and Caseson; her brother, Rheo Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews.
