NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURE: LA 3032 (Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge) eastbound

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on the night of Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the eastbound inside (left) lane and shoulder of the LA 3032 bridge (Shreveport-Barksdale) over the Red River in Caddo & Bossier Parishes will be closed.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for one (1) night, and is necessary to allow for evaluation of the bridge deck.

Restrictions/Permits: No detour necessary for this work.

Alternate Route: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Safety reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
