North Bossier boil advisory rescinded

A boil advisory issued for part of northern Bossier Parish has been rescinded.

The City of Bossier City issued the boil advisory Tuesday, Aug. 9, for a portion of Bossier Parish that receives water from the city.  The advisory was for all residents and businesses along Kingston Road from approximately Willow Chute Bayou to Airline Drive, including Kingston Elementary School, Shiloh Baptist Church, Kingston Crossing Apartments and the St. Charles Court Subdivision.

The boil advisory was rescinded Wednesday, Aug. 10, after tests on water samples came back negative for contaminants.
