Northwest Louisiana Technical College will host an Inaugural Reception and Gala: featuring an evening with Governor Edwin Edwards & Louisiana Literary Award Winner Leo Honeycutt on Thursday, September 8, in the Bossier Parish Community College Gymnasium, 6220 E. Texas Street, Bossier City, LA.
“We are honored to present the former Governor Edwin Edwards and the author of his biography, Leo Honeycutt, for a dinner and book signing,” said Dianne Clark, Northwest LTC Interim Director. “This inaugural event is a first step toward building a sustainable source of funds to support students, the College and the communities we serve.”
The VIP Reception is from 5:30 – 6:00 pm with the book signing from 6:00 – 6:30 pm. Dinner will be from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Former Senator Robert Adley will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.
Funding for higher education keeps disappearing in the eight-year budget reduction cycle, so the school’s goal is to develop a foundation to support areas which now go unfunded.
Tickets are $100 per person. A Corporate Level ticket is $1,000 and includes reserved table seating for eight, a name in the program, and a name on the table; a Gold Level ticket is $1,500 and includes two VIP Reception invitations, reserved table seating for eight, an ad in the program and a name on the table; the Platinum Level ticket is $2,000 and includes eight VIP Reception invitations, a Priority Photo Op, Priority Book Signing, a reserved table seating eight, an ad in the program and a name on the table.
