Collier Hyams, right, led a group of aspiring guitarists in practicing “Seven Nation Army” during Rock Camp taking place this week at Northwestern State University where students are learning electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. Rock Camp includes sectionals, masterclasses and band practice that will culminate in an end of camp performance at 11 a.m. Friday, June 21. This is the first time NSU has offered Rock Camp, organized by Oliver Molina, professor of music, and Hyams, professor of art, with the assistance of NSU students.
