HAUGHTON – Services for Alean K. LaFitte will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church Haughton with Bro. Gevan Spinney officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 5:00pm – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Alean was born on March 3, 1931 to Ollie and Allen Kay in Peason, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janice, and her beloved husband William John “Pete” LaFitte. Alean was married to Pete for 55 years. After his death in 2011 she grieved for him every day of her life.
Left to cherish in her memories are her son, John LaFitte, her daughters Vickie Wood and Debi Hardin and her husband Doug, grandsons Ryon Wood, Joshua Wood, Daniel Hardin and wife Olivia and granddaughter Deanna Hardin.
