Obituary: Alfredo Larramendi

Senor Alfredo Larramendi died unexpectedly on January 28, 2015 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 77. He was a man who believed in God and family first. He always wore a smile and enjoyed getting together with family and friends.

Alfredo Larramendi is survived by Norma Micaela Morales Larramendi, his wife of 58 years, of Bossier City, LA; his daughter Estela of Hollywood, FL; his daughter Lourdes of Winnetka, CA; his son Alfredo (Al) of Bossier City, LA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Angel and Estela Garcia Larramendi.

Alfredo was born on May 19, 1937 in Manzanillo, Cuba. Alfredo graduated from Escuela de Comerero in Manzanillo, Cuba in 1955 as an Accountant. He married Norma in 1957, and she was the love of his life. After moving to Los Angeles, California in 1971, Alfredo began working for Bank of America of Los Angeles, CA as a microfiche technician. Alfredo retired after twenty-two years of service.

A Mass is scheduled on February 28, 2015 for 10:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church at 4700 Palmetto Rd., Benton, LA 71006. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alfredo Larramendi’s life.
