BOSSIER CITY – Alicia Diane Stayner was born November 8, 1961 at Ernest Harmon Air Force Base, Stephenville, Newfoundland. She went to be with her Lord April 19, 2015 in Shreveport.
Diane was a graduate of Woodlawn High School. She worked for Tristate Elevator for 17 years and then for Custom Built Cabinets. She married Michael James Stayner May 25, 2002. She enjoyed music, movies, and fishing.
Diane is survived by her husband, Michael Stayner; daughter, Ashley Smith; son, Matt Smith; grandsons, Chance and Cole Snell; parents, Barbara and Marvin Lee, brothers, Mike Lee, Jerry Lee (Fern), David Lee (Francis); sister, Kathy Lee Davis (Mark); several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
A service celebrating the life of Diane will be will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 2:30 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Hawkins. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday, at the funeral home.
The family wishes for memorial donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , the Shriner’s Hospitals or Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 24, Stonewall, LA 71078, in Diane’s name.
Pallbearers are Mike Lee, Jerry Lee, Mark Davis, Chris Davis, Jerry Rodgers, and Matt Smith.
