Austin Smith
Haughton, LA – A memorial service to remember Austin Smith, 22, was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Bellaire Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Randy Harper. Inurnment followed in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Austin was born on October 15, 1995 and passed away on September 21, 2018. He was a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard, having served his country for four years.
Austin was a member of Bellaire Baptist Church.
He went to Parkway High where he wrestled all four years and graduated in 2014. He made many friends in all his travels and touched many lives. He will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.
Austin is survived by his grandparents/parents, Wayne and Patricia Benjamin; sisters, Sarah Grace Montante and Payton McKenzie Carroll; uncle, Jeremy Smith and wife Stefani; his cousins who were like brothers, Hunter Christian Smith and Cooper Grayson Smith; grandparents, Don and Kristen Smith; his birth mother, Laurissa Ann Smith; and numerous extended family members.
