HAUGHTON – Services to celebrate the life of Barbara Joe Brumley, 80, will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton, LA with Rev. Ronnie Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Barbara was born on April 16, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2016. She retired as a bus driver for Haughton schools. Barbara was a beautiful person both inside and out. Everyone knew her to always have a smile on her face. She loved the Lord and her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlin H. Brumley, parents, Sam and Mittie Teutsch and 8 siblings.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Debbie J. Orr and husband Bennie and Janet Brumley; grandchildren, Joey Keith, Julee Keith Botica and husband Jeremy, Blaine Smith and wife Amber, Max Orr and wife Crystal and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Isabell Keith, Kaylee, McKenna and Cassidy Smith, Karalee, Kree and Kainee Botica, Spencer and Autumn Orr. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dale Teutsch, Rodney Teutsch, Patrick Arnold, Mike Williams, Pat Williams and Brian Teutsch.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, Joey Keith, Blaine Smith, Jeremy Botica, Max Orr, Spencer Orr and Benjamin Keith.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ted Warren and Hospice Nurse Julie Vail.
