BOSSIER CITY – Betty Jo Morrison Simmons, 78, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, February 25th, 2017. There will be a Graveside service held at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Thursday, at 10:00 A.M. March 2nd, 2017. Hill Crest Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
She was born in ElDorado, Arkansas on January 24th, 1939. She was married to Monroe G. Simmons on November 23rd, 1961.
Betty retired from the Bossier Parish School Board after 24 years of service as a school bus driver.
She was survived by her husband, Monroe G. Simmons; daughter, Faith A. Simmons; sister, Pat Landrum; and brother, Randy Morrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
