PLAIN DEALING – Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Bobbie Gail DeMoss, age 73, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Plain Dealing Cemetery with Ricky DeMoss officiating. Services are under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home in Plain Dealing.
Mrs. DeMoss was born on March 17, 1941 to Robert and Mozelle Cabiness Rhea in Dallas, TX and died Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Shreveport. LA. She was a former resident of Mt. Pleasant, TX and had lived in Plain Dealing the last 20 years. She was a member of the Plain Dealing Baptist Church and was a secretary/treasurer for DeMoss Scrap Metal Company for many years. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a joy to all who knew her and loved helping others.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Denny and Lisa DeMoss; grandson, Daniel DeMoss all of Plain Dealing, LA; sister, Mary Ellen McKelvey and husband, Ray of Mt. Pleasant, TX; step-granddaughter, Ashley Jobe; step-great-grandson, Bradley and nephew, Dale McKelvey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny G. DeMoss on April 12, 1999; her parents and sister, Sharon Rhea.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Wiley, Paul Sapp, Dale McKelvey, Sean DeMoss, Adam DeMoss and Heath Cave.
