Bobby R. Adams, Sr.
Elm Grove, LA – Mr. Bobby R. Adams, Sr., 88, passed away on Thursday April 12, 2018, at home after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday April 16th, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 12:30 pm at Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was a native of Dubberly, LA and a resident of Elm Grove, LA for 34 years. He was a graduate of LSU and an employee of the Public Works/Engineering-Surveying Dept. of the City of Shreveport for over 34 years. He was a member of the Elks Club for many years. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Bistineau and hosting fish fries for friends and family.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille; his parents, James and Dorothy Adams; sisters, Roberta A. Kern and Catherine A. DeMoss; brothers, James Adams and Twin, Billy Adams. He is survived by wife, Nancy G. Adams; daughter, Sandra A. Godwin; sons, Bobby R. Adams, Jr. and Billy W. Adams; and five grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Bobby.
