BOSSIER CITY – Memorial Service for Carissa Aimee Morales, 23, of Bossier City, LA will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. She was born in Conway, S.C. on January 09, 1992 to Salvador Morales and Denise Marie Law Morales. She peacefully passed away on August 07, 2015. Carissa graduated from Bossier Learning Center in 2013 and received an Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Reimbursements from Virginia College with honors, in 2015. Carissa worked at Pizza Hut and was planning on furthering her education in Medical Administration. Carissa had a passion for animals and nature. She loved to read and laugh. Carissa is survived by her father, Salvador Morales; her mother and step-father, Denise and Louie Thompson; brother, Chase Mason Morales; step-sisters, Lanet Thompson and Sabrena Peer (Nick) and their daughters, Lily and Violet Peer; grandmothers Petra Santiago and Ora Egger; aunts and uncles and their families, Kathy LaJoie (George), Douglas Law (Irene), Valerie Drury (Bruce), Karen Sprakties (James), Kimberly Shady, Marilee Spear, Kevin Law, William Eggers, Carmen Mangual (Rafael), Zaida Tavarez (Miguel), James Morlaes, Maria Morales, Joseph Morales; great aunts and uncles and their families, Joseph Black (Phillis), Erma Yarolem, Ruth Ann Thompson, Richard Law, Shirly Black. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Floyd and Udalda Black, Richard and Agnas Law, and Isaball Santiago; grandparents, Robert Law, Walter Eggers and Salvador Morales; great aunts and uncles, Ronald Black, Richard Black, Bertha King, Barbara Mitchell of which they have children and family living in areas throughout the states.
