BOSSIER CITY LA- Services for Carol Marlene Shoemake, 56, will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Casey Hough officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Carol was born in Crestview, Florida on August 30, 1957 to parents Marvin Dale and Janice Shoemake and passed away gracefully at her home in Bossier City, Louisiana on July 8, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her niece, Heather Shoemake. She is survived by her parents, Marvin and Janice Shoemake; son, Jason D. Arnold and wife Christina; sister, Cheryl Frazier and husband Dave; brother, Rusty Shoemake and wife Mary Jo; granddaughter, Makayla Smith and her nephews, Gregory and Colin Shoemake.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Gregory Shoemake, Colin Shoemake, Dave Frazier, Leonard Koglin, Dr. Hewitt McCuller Jr. and Steve Matlock.
