BOSSIER CITY – Carolyn Johnson Olson, age 74, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on October 12, 2016. There will be a Celebration of Life held at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Monday, October 17th, 2016 at 2 PM. Burial will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Carolyn was born in Haynesville, Louisiana on July 3rd, 1942. She graduated from Haynesville High School and received a Business Degree from Women’s Business College in Shreveport, LA.
She was married to Richard Lee Olson on January 20th, 1962. Carolyn had a career in the dental field for Dr. Doyle Baldridge. She also had a passion for traveling in their motor home and her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Annamaud Johnson; brother, J.C. Johnson; infant son, Jason Olson.
Carolyn was survived by her husband, Richard Lee Olson; children, Jeffery Todd Olson and wife Colleen, Michael Dean Olson and wife Sally; grandchildren, Corey Blake Olson and wife Payton, Caroline Elizabeth Olson, Jordyn Alex Olson, Kaleb Lee Henry and wife Corynn, Amanda Wynn Henry; brother, Donald Ray Johnson.
