Obituary: Charles “Clinton” Campbell

BOSSIER CITY – Services for Charles Clinton Campbell, 87, will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Campbell. Interment will follow at Thomas Wren Cemetery, Coushatta, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.

Charles was born September 20, 1927 in Coushatta, LA to Charlie Cannon Campbell and Dora Deliah Cotton Campbell and died March 5, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. He retired as a MSgt. from the United States Air Force. He also retired from the City of Ocala, FL. He was a volunteer at the Barksdale AFB Pharmacy, was active in his church work and had a green thumb and loved gardening.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Annette K. Campbell; his parents and nine siblings.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Donna C. Parr and husband, Gregory of Navarre, FL, Amy C. Valk and husband, Peter of Fort Myers, FL, Rebecca C. Slavin and husband, Harold, of Orlando, FL and Lisa C. Quartana and husband, Phil of Oak Creek, WI; sister, Nancy Warren; brother, Wiley Campbell; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials go to the favorite charity of the donor.
