BOSSIER CITY – Charles C. Greer, 62 ,of Bossier City, LA returned to his heavenly home on October 10, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. His faith and his devoted family supported him in his struggle and gave him peace. His greatest joy was his faith in Christ, his family and grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 in Faith Chapel at First Bossier, 2810 E. Texas St., Bossier City, LA. Visitation will be held from eleven to twelve o’clock. Officiating will be Charlie’s nephew, Joshua H. Stewart.
Charlie was proud to serve his country in the National Guard. He also loved the twenty five years that he worked for Larkin Development. Charlie met many people along the way and cherished each and every friendship.
He was blessed with a large, loving family. Preceded in death is Charlie’s mother, Marie Greer, father, Jack Greer and sister, Jackie Miller. To cherish his precious memory are his loving wife, Sissy Greer of 42 years, son, K.C. (Amber) Greer, and his three grandsons, Carter, Kannon and Chandler. Sisters, Kathy Stewart, Wanda (Roy) Etheridge, Sandra (Ron) Clanton and brother, Jerry (Bregitte) Greer, sister-in-law, Lisa (Don) Moser and Kathleen Brazzel. Charlie will also be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. McDonald, Dr. Sewell and Southern Care Hospice for their kind and loving care.
Flowers will be accepted at the front office of First Bossier 2810 E. Texas St.
