Claudine Coley Bond
BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Claudine Coley Bond, 84, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Rev. R. L. Bethley and Rev. Jerry Hilburn. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church.
Claudine was born May 22, 1931, to Claude Willian and Ann Marie Busch Coley in Gainesville, TX and went home to our Lord and Savior on January 13, 2016, in Bossier City, LA. Claudine was a secretary for many years for Greenacres Middle School, Airline High School, and Bossier Parish School Board where she retired. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Claudine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, to all who knew her, she will be truly missed.
Her parents, husband, Robert Donald Bond, daughters, Debbie Opperman, and Donna Stinnett, daughter-in-law, Annie Bond, sister, Leanna Coley Bradchulis; and half-sister, Lena Saterfield preceded her in death. Left to cherish precious memories of Claudine are her son, Robert Donald Bond, Jr. of St. Gabriel, LA; daughter, Beckie Bond Sinor and husband Ben of Bossier City, LA; brothers-in-law, Tony Bradchulis, and Raymond Bond; sister-in-law, Tyler Bond; grandchildren, Michael Timms, Robert Donald Bond, lll, Britney Leigh Hutchison, Haley Paige Opperman, Ryan Michael Stinnett, Alex Coley Bond, Julie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Madison Paige Timms, Tanner Jacob Timms, Brody Hutchison, Jake Hutchison, Jude Opperman, Stevie Anne Opperman, Taylor Wood, Brant Wood, and Ellie Kate Wood. She also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many friends.
Honoring Claudine as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Asbury Sunday School class, and the Optimus Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
