Memorial services for Eva M. Connell, 91, will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Father Frank Hughes officiating.
Eva was born February 8, 1923 in Arcadia, Louisiana and entered into rest September 7, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. She was a long-time member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Minden, Louisiana. She had a special gift and everyone who met her walked away with a smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey E and Jamie Thurmond Morrow, daughter Elizabeth Teagle, son-in-law Kenneth D. Teagle, sisters Elizabeth Ann Eubank, Virginia M. Newman Yardley, and son-in-law William R. Sistrunk, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Jane W. Sistrunk of Minden, grandsons David R. Weston, Jr., and wife April, and their daughter Katelin Weston of Doyline, Walter Teagle of Shreveport, William Teagle of Lake of the Ozark, Missouri, David Sistrunk and wife Robin of Minden, special friends Dr. Joe Bolger, Steve Morris, Kaye Turner, many more great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
