Gurlie was a wonderful person who showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. She loved life, her family, and her friends. She raised all of her girls…Nona, Geralyn and Germaine, to be strong just as she was.
She was passionate about her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gurlie supported all of them in everything they did and was always their biggest cheerleader. She loved music, dancing, cooking and entertaining her family, but most of all she loved her Church and her Lord.
Today the music is silent and there are no cheers but tomorrow holds promise for us all. The Bible says in Revelation 21, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Roddy and Chad Broussard, Jason and Josh Keith, Ryan Benoit and Randy Coburn.
