BENTON, LA – Ivie was born to Lonnie M. and Hettie Bell Nealy in Shongaloo, LA and passed away on April 29, 2016. Mrs. Teutsch was a founding member of Faith Temple Assembly of God and a member of Spirit Wind Church. She loved to share the word of God through her beautiful poetry and was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. She was an avid gardener, a homemaker, a wonderful cook who never missed the chance to make fried apple pies. She loved to laugh and was always ready to tell you a good joke. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend She is survived by her grandchildren, Brian Teutsch, wife Lora of Bossier and Karla Bounds, husband Brandon of Keithville; great grandchildren, Alyse Jones, Sara Cordell, Brennan Teutsch, Brasen Teutsch, and Brently Bounds; daughter-in-law Sherry Teutsch; sister, Erma Faye Caughman and husband Gordon of Haughton, LA; her long time special friend and caregiver, Ruth Ward, and a host of her “favorite” nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Teutsch was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Gracie Nealy; husband, JD Teutsch,; son, David Teutsch; sister, Ruthie Humphrey; brothers, Lewis M. Nealy, Dale Nealy, Dalton Nealy and Madie Nealy.

Services for Mrs. Teutsch will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Watson and Rev. Dick Lintleman. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Brian Teutsch, Brandon Bounds, Dale Teutsch, Pat Arnold, Jon Miller, Jimmy Nealy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sanjaykumar Shah, and nurse, Dawn Strick for their care, compassion, support and guidance.
