BOSSIER CITY – Services celebrating the life of Jane McCall will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Denny Duron pastor of Shreveport Community Church and assisted by Rev. Conrad P. Edwards. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Rocky Mount, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Jane McCall was born on December 5, 1950 in Shreveport, LA and on December 6, 2015 after a short illness Jane slipped away to her heavenly home and into the arms of Jesus, her lifelong friend and savior. She was welcomed by her adoring parents Edna Kirklin and James W. McCall. Jane lived life to the fullest, enjoyed lively music, church, and serving tea to her guests. Her loving, gracious and gentle personality charmed everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Jane was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Bossier City, which is now Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her aunt, Louise Davis and husband Milton Davis. Left to cherish special memories of Jane are her sister, Sandy Alley and husband Bill Alley, Jr. of Bossier City, LA; nephews, Ty Alley of Shreveport, LA, Brad Alley and wife Lisa of Bossier City, LA; great nieces and nephews, Liam, Ava Katherine, Ryan, Dakota, Kelsey, Dalton, and Cody; special cousins, Robert, Charlotte, and Kirk Davis; and her devoted caregiver and friend, Brenda Hoy.
Honoring Jane as pallbearers will be Ty Alley, Brad Alley, Robert Davis, Kirk Davis, Todd Davis, and Mike Belanger.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Robert C. Hernandez and the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for their exceptional care and compassion.
