Bossier City, LA – Services for Jerry A. Hoover, 77, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday May 15, 2018, at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel, Bossier City, LA, with Pastor Darrell Moseley officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park West Cemetery Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jerry was born August 10,1940 in Bloomsburg, PN to Marie Mae Moyer Hoover and Marlin Wayne Hoover and passed away May 12,2018 in Bossier City, LA. He was of Christian faith. Jerry retired from General Motors.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Ann Hoover, and his parents. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Julie Hall and husband Marty of Bossier City, LA, Jerri Lynn Giddens of Bossier City, LA, Lisa Haynes and husband Ralph of Bossier City LA, and Elizabeth Adkins of Bossier City, LA; sons, Jeffrey Hoover of Keithville, LA, and Russell Reppert and wife Dee of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Carm Hartman of Harrisburg, PA; brothers, Richard Hoover of Danville, PA and Duane E. Hoover and wife Mary of Shreveport, LA; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Stephen Hall, Garrett Haynes, Russell Reppert, Duane Hoover, Ralph Haynes and Marty Durrett.
