John Henry Golden, Jr.
BOSSIER CITY, LA – A funeral service for John Henry Golden, Jr. will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Donald Crook, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
John was born October 10, 1962 in Plattsburg, NY and died April 15, 2016 in Bossier City, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was currently operations manager of the Civic Center for the City of Bossier. John was of the Baptist faith. John was known for his crooked smile, kind heart, and dry humor. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, and he had a love for fishing with his family.
His mother, Doris Moennichmeyer Golden and nephew, Matthew “Ace” Fontenot preceded him in death.
He is survived by his father, John Henry Golden, Sr.; his love of 17 years, Heather Wall; sons, Keith Golden, Adam Golden, Richard Mackin; daughters, Carrie McDonald and Kristina Mackin; five grandchildren, and siblings, Dianne Kelly, Steve Golden, Teresa Congdon and Nancy Golden.
