BOSSIER CITY – Mrs. Patrick was born in Marthaville, Louisiana, to Ivie Marguerite Brock Selby Tauzin and Clarence “Dug” Selby on November 13, 1920 and passed away on November 9, 2016. She was married to her childhood sweetheart Delma Lee Patrick for sixty-seven years; he preceded her in death in September 2004. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana, and served there as bookkeeper for many years. She loved teaching Sunday School and taking the youth group to Caney Lake.
A celebration of life will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM with a private burial at Hill Crest Memorial Park to follow.
Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Margie Selby Thomas; and son-in-law, Wilfred J. Townsend. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Patrick Townsend; and son, Sammy Lee Patrick and wife Ramona. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrice Perry and husband Rick; Billy Townsend and wife Jeanna; Summer Woodard and husband Bobby; and Christopher Patrick and wife Brittany. Great-grandchildren include Erick (Becca), Cody (Morgan) and Tucker Perry; Brandon Townsend (Kimmie) and Ashley Hamby (Kaleb); Raeleigh Woodard; Landen, Colson, and Trace Patrick. Great-great grandchildren are Selby Jane Perry and Micah Marie Hamby.
