Kathy was born on April 26, 1950 to Charles Lee and Anne Runyon Barnett in Shreveport, LA. She graduated in 1969 from Northwood High School then went to Northeast Louisiana University. But most of all she was a loving devoted wife and poured her heart and soul into her children and grandchildren; always giving and sharing her life knowledge to better all around her.
