Leland Brett Carter
Leland Brett Carter, 54, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away late Thursday evening March 9th at Willis-Knighton North. Brett was born on January 15th, 1962 in Shreveport Louisiana, son of Leland H. Carter and Helen Smith Carter. Brett was a Lutheran by faith. Brett was a 1980 graduate of Airline High School. Brett worked for many surveying companies in North Louisiana, was an Inspector for LA DOTD and worked construction for several contractors in Caddo Parish.
Brett loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and calf roping were hobbies he most enjoyed. Brett was adept reader who read the paper cover to cover and his Bible daily. Survivors include his sister Kasey Enis Rogers and her husband Jerry Rogers of the Woodlands, Texas, 2 nieces Bailey Ruth Ann Enis of Red River New Mexico, Kelsi Enis Womack, and her husband Leo Barton Womack Jr. of Houston, Texas, nephew Carter James Enis of The Woodlands and two great nephews Sebastian & Max Womack. Brett was preceded in death by his loving parents Mrs. & Mrs. Leland H. Carter, grandparents and many aunts and uncles. A
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 23rd, 10:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church 2565 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 7111. Pastor Sig Kunz officiating. The family request that memorial donations be made to Immanuel Lutheran.
