BOSSIER CITY, LA – Lillian C. Hall was called to her Heavenly home on the morning of December 25, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home at 89 years of age. Her grace, dignity and optimism were a shining example for all who knew her and she will forever be missed by her family and large circle of friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel, Bossier City, LA services to follow at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor David Dietzel of First United Methodist Church of Bossier. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Haughton, LA.

Lillian was born on October 16, 1926 in Valdosta, GA and has resided in Bossier City for the past 60 years during which time she owned and operated the Buckskin Western Store for almost 20 years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier and until her declining health prevented it, Daughters of the Nile organization, and Eastern Star.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, James W. Hall; sons, Jim Coleman of Marshall, TX, and Rod Coleman and wife Cheryl of Bella Vista, AR; step-son, Jimmy Hall and wife Kathy of Bossier City, LA; step-daughter, Debbie Hall Miller and husband David of Haughton, LA; grandchildren, Brandi Coleman, Lisa Weaver and husband Fred, Scott Coleman, Shelaine Coleman, Karen Jordan and husband Jason, Christy Wreford and husband Neil; great-grandchildren, Cody Miller, Tyler Miller, and Lillian Paige Coleman, Ellie Jordan, Audrey Jordan, Livi Wreford, Liam Wreford and Lucas Wreford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice T. and O.H. Rodgers, Sr.; husband Emmett C. Coleman; Brothers, O.H. Rodgers, Bill Rodgers, and Jimmy N. Rodgers; and daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Coleman.

Honoring Lillian as pallbearers will be members of Midyett Sunday school class, Johnny Murray, Glenn Overturf, Carroll Traylor, Don Rittenberry, Judson Scott, and Wayne Veatch.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children , 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
