BOSSIER CITY – Services to celebrate the life of Linda L. Webb, 76, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Mr. Stuart Freeman, Associate Minister of University Church of Christ will be officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Linda was born March 3, 1940, in Overton, Texas. Her family moved to Saratoga, Arkansas where she attended grade school through high school. She passed away October 8, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Linda retired from Arkla Gas where she was an Administrative Assistant for over 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Webb, who always called her “his sweet little red head”; her parents, Press and Elizabeth McKinney; four brothers, and two sisters. Linda is survived by her son, Joe Webb, Jr. and wife Lisa of Bossier City; son, Bruce Webb of Baton Rouge; daughter, Keli Webb Buckley and husband Barry of Pangburn AR; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Greg Buckley and wife Anna, Kaylon Buckley and wife Meagan, Allison Buckley Eaton and husband Wesley, Jennifer Buckley, Tyler Webb, and Sarah Webb; and two great-grandchildren, Cash Buckley and Mason Buckley.
Linda was someone you could always count on in times of need. She was caregiver for her husband before he passed away and she never turned down an opportunity to watch her grandkids. Her family will miss her greatly but are comforted knowing she’s at peace now, re-united in Heaven, with her husband of over 50 years.
Pallbearers are Greg Buckley, Kaylon Buckley, Tyler Webb, Rudy Francis, Cliff Haydel, and Fred Foster.
