BOSSIER CITY – Services for Marjorie Louise Norton, 84, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Officiating will be Dr. Graham Riggs. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Marjorie was born January 9, 1931 in Attala Co., MS and passed away February 1, 2015 in Bossier City. She was retired from real estate sales. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a member of and Legislative Chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4588.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, Bobby Joe Grantham and wife, Stephanie of Benton, LA. Billy C. Williams and wife, Terri of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Pamela June Brunty and husband, Walt of Benton, LA; sister, Mosell Massey of Morton, MS; brother, Bobby Frazier of Pickens, MS; stepdaughter, Judy Bates and husband, Robert of Doyline, LA; grandchildren, Kim Throgmorton, Rusty Grantham, Angelia Carrington, Barry Williams, Brian Williams, Angela Rowell and 12 great grandchildren.
Honoring Marjorie as pallbearers will be Judge Tommy Wilson, Judge Jeff Cox, Dan Solomon, Al Mosley, Billy Cox and Don McCullough.
