Matthew Dean Hill
HAUGHTON, LA – Services celebrating the life of Matthew Hill, 26, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Robert Beadle. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Matthew was born in Shreveport, LA on February 23, 1990. He was a Haughton High School graduate and worked in landscaping. Matthew was engaged to Brittany Glovier. Matthew was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton and had a passion for spending time with his children, friends, and family, and also loved to shoot pool.
Matthew is survived by his 8 year old daughter, Heather Hill; and 7 year old son, Matthew Jr.; his mother, Tabatha Hill; step-dad, Robby Barber; his father, Darrell Hill; step-mom, Pamela Copes; brothers, Brandon Hill, Geoffrey Lewis, Dylan Hill, and Michael Copes; sisters, Katie and Cindy Hill; grandparents, Tommy Hill, Sr. and Shirley; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mamaw, Barbara Hill.
