Michael Reed Thomas
HAUGHTON, LA – Michael Reed Thomas was born on April 10, 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and went to live with Jesus on October 3, 2017.
He was retired from Moore’s Goodyear. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church of Haughton, LA .He enjoyed, in his earlier years, coaching little league baseball, fishing, cheering for the Razorbacks, and loving on his family. His parents, Tommy and Syble Thomas, preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory, is the love of his life of 50 years; Peggie Parks Thomas of Haughton, LA, daughter Staci Thomas, son Brent Thomas and wife Beth, his precious granddaughter, Haylee Thomas and his best buddy, his grandson, Trevor Thomas of Haughton, LA; brother Glenn Thomas and wife Sue of Smackover, AR; aunt Donna Lowery of Camden AR; special cousin Janet Richardson of Monroe, LA; and a host of numerous nephews and nieces that he loved with all of his heart.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, from 6:008:00 PM; services will be held on Friday, October 6, at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA Memorials may be made to Bossier Federal Credit Union, Haughton Branch to a memorial account set up to benefit Haughton Middle School Archery Team where Mike’s grandson, Trevor, is a member.
