BOSSIER CITY, LA – A Graveside service celebrating the life of Gloria A. Arrington, 75, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Dr. Randy Harper officiating.
Gloria was born on March 7, 1939 to William and Agnes Bowman and she passed away on July, 4, 2014. Mrs. Arrington began her career in the banking industry at Bank of Prescott in Prescott, AR and when she relocated to the Shreveport Bossier area she joined Commercial National Bank in Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe W. Arrington. She is survived by her daughters Karen Hoek and husband Eddie and Amelia Bishop and husband Mike, grandchildren Jordan W. Hoek and wife Christina, Evan D. Hoek, Jacob M. Bishop, Mary Katherine Wood and husband Naaman, great grandson Landon Jace Hoek, sisters Joyce McGinty, Faye Ebert and husband Charlie and Sandra Fink, and brother Bill Bowman and wife Susan.
