Nora Loretta “Lori” Begley passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 25, 2017. Lori was born on November 23, 1955 in El Paso, TX to Robert and Pat Begley. Lori was a graduate of Parkway High School and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at Northwestern State University. Lori worked as a nurse and NP for more than 20 years. More recently, she took great joy in her work as a substitute teacher in the Bossier Parish School System. She absolutely loved the faculty and students of Parkway High School and Elm Grove Middle School. Lori was a “super” sports fan. If there was a ball involved in it, she was in!… Enthusiastically! Her favorite teams included The University of Kentucky for basketball, The Cowboys for professional football, The Cincinnati Reds for baseball… and of course anything LSU.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Robert and Pat Begley; daughter Danielle Wisian (Lance); sister Tina B. Davis (Rusty); one niece, one nephew and a multitude of local students, other family, and dear friends especially Donny and Shirley Cole.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Moller and his staff for their many years of compassionate care.
