BOSSIER CITY – Services for Olan D. McLelland, 67, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel, Bossier City, LA with Rev. Robert Finley and Rev. Mark Rodie officiating. Interment will be in Rose-Neath Cemetery, Bossier City, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at the funeral home.
Olan was born January 2, 1949 in Orange, TX to Geraldine Johnson McLelland and Billy McLelland and went to be with our Lord after a brief illness November 18, 2016 in Bossier City, LA. Olan served in the United States Navy. He was a proud member of First Bossier Church, Bossier City, LA. Olan was a family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren unconditionally.
Preceding Olan was his father, step-mother, Margie McLelland, sister, Aline King, and brother, George Hastings. Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann McLelland of Bossier City, LA; mother, Geraldine Talbott; sons, Wesley McLelland and wife, Fancesca, and Darrell McLelland; grandchildren, Sarah McLelland, Turner McLelland, and Emerson McLelland; sisters, Joyce Howell, Margaret McKenzie, Martha Johnson, Brenda McCann, and LaMoise McLelland; brothers, Walter McLelland, Bubba McLelland, Bobby Jones, Ray Jones, and Billy Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
